Change is a good thing! We rolled out some exciting changes last month and are hoping it will be part of a fresh start for Root and Branch and our Clermont neighbors. Here’s what’s new, and what you can expect this winter and beyond.
New: Hours
Root and Branch Bistro and Bar in Clermont has new hours, as of January 12, 2026:
Monday and Tuesday – Closed
Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday
3 pm – 9 pm
Fri – Sat
3 pm – 10 pm
New: Fresh Focus on Chef-Curated Dinners
We shifted away from Brunch and Lunch last month. Our new hours also help us renew our focus on what we (and our guests) love about Root and Branch: delicious, chef-made and curated dinners, and exquisite dessert and drink pairings to match.
This includes our special events, like our monthly wine dinners, and our rotating dinner menu. This season’s dinner menu is full of unforgettable entrees like:
- Pork Wellington: Our signature pork chop, deboned and wrapped in puff pastry with grilled mushrooms, finished with a rich mushroom port wine demi-glace.
- Handmade Ravioli (with Braised Short Rib or Roasted Vegetable filling), each served with its own succulent sauce.
- Atlantic Cod: Pan-roasted and braised in herb and wine-infused butter, served topped with a buttery garlic cracker crumble.
- Buffalo Chicken Tenders & House Mac: Crispy buffalo-dipped chicken tenders served alongside our house mac & cheese – creamy, rich, and perfect for comfort cravings with a little heat.

Kids (Still) Eat Free on Sundays
One thing that hasn’t changed (and never will) is how much we love bringing families together for a great meal. Kids still eat free at Root and Branch Clermont every Sunday when they dine in. [Purchase of one regular/adult entrée required.] They can choose from our house-made kid favorites: mac n’ cheese, cheesburger, grilled cheese sandwich, or chicken tenders.
When it Comes to Great Service, Some Things Never Change
Root and Branch may try new dishes and new cocktails: after all, it’s what we love. But one thing that will never change is our commitment to excellent service and high-quality, delicious meals. This includes customizing meals to your tastes and preferences, accommodating special gatherings and groups, and in-house food, spirits, and wine expertise. And of course, no reheated food in sight. Every meal is still made to order for a unique flavor profile. Whether it’s something from the grill, from the bar, or hot out of the oven, you can always plan on love at first bite.
